Osteo-Odonto-Keratoprosthesis
Thats a big word... Its a medical procedure where the doctors take a tooth, the root and part of the jaw and repair your eye socket. The Jaw is used to rebuild the eye socket, the root is used as a type of 'extension cord' and the tooth has a small hole drilled into it and is inserted into the cornea. Its a 15 hour procedure for both eyes. This is an awesome story, giving hope to those who can't see. One of the managers at Taco Bell live with a Blind Lady, maybe Ill show him this story.

A different Type of War. The Format War
http://www.cnn.com/2008/BUSINESS/02/18/toshiba.hddvd.ap/index.html
HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray.
This is a battle that has been going on for a few years now, but is finally getting some rewarding results. From the looks of things Blu-Ray is going to become the Dominant format. HD(High Definition) Dvd's are awesome, nice crystal clear images, great sound. The kinds of things that make Real life look kinda... Low Def, but Blu-Ray has the same clear image and sound of HD, and has a bigger recording capacity. Blu-Ray players are about 100 dollars more expensive, but they can be found not only as DVD players, but also as Cd drives in computers and as Sony's PS3 gaming system.
The bottom Line?
I think Blu-Ray is going to end up taking some serious ground in the format wars, and eventually, making Hi-Def Obsolete.
